Located off of Richmond Road across from Jacobson Park, Ellerslie at Delong is convenient to Interstate 75 and downtown. Delong farms has a long history in the Bluegrass. In 1787, one of the first landowners in Lexington, Levi Todd, built his residence called "Ellerslie". Named after his manor in Ellersley, Scotland, it stretched all across the Richmond Road area. Mentelle Park was the first subdivision out of the Ellerslie estate, and now includes others such as Ashland Park. Ellerslie at Delong represents one of the premier sections of the original estate with its stone fences and beautiful rolling hills, so typical to this area.
